A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly professional Personal Assistant to provide outstanding support to both our Senior Deputy Head (Academic) and our Deputy Head (Pastoral and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead) to join the school on a permanent and full time basis from 1 July 2024.

The successful candidate must have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.  They must be personable, approachable, responsive and accommodating and should be able to work with frequent disruptions.  The post-holder will need to work well as part of a team and must also be able to work autonomously.  They will need to be able to think on their feet, whilst following strict procedures and tight timescales.  Attention to detail is vital in this highly varied role.

This is a full time all-year-round position and the core hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm during term time and 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday during school holidays.  A degree of flexibility is required to suits the needs of the role.  The role is full time and attracts 28 days annual leave, to be taken during school holidays only, plus Bank Holidays and two weeks at Christmas when the School is closed.

The salary will be commensurate with the post and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the appointed candidate.  This is a permanent position and the start date will be confirmed on the completion of all required pre-employment checks.

All staff working in the School during the school day will have some contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity.  In this role you are unlikely to be working with children directly but will regularly interact with pupils who may seek your assistance or otherwise interact with you when moving around the school.
