FacilitiesState-of-the-art

Visitors are often surprised by the size of our campus where historic buildings – including a converted church – sit side-by-side with modern facilities interconnected by tranquil gardens and courtyards.

Our on-site sports centre includes a fabulous sports hall which is equipped and marked-out for cricket, football, fencing, badminton, basketball, netball, volleyball and hockey – plus a full-height climbing wall and professional sound system. There’s a dance studio, separate fully-equipped fitness studio, and a dual-aspect viewing gallery overlooking the sports hall and the outside astro pitches. These flood-lit pitches include hockey pitches – doubling up for rounders and athletics in the summer – adjacent to netball and tennis courts. Having all these facilities on-site means that they are a hive of activity before school, during breaks and lunchtime and after school.

A converted church accommodates our wonderfully versatile performing arts centre with a glass atrium providing light and open spaces. This connects to the modern music school with its rehearsal and practice rooms and a fully-equipped music suite. Inspiring art studios are flooded with natural light, and our design and technology and food technology workshops add to our extensive curricular and extra-curricular programme. There’s a well-stocked library and impressively equipped science block with modern labs and interactive learning spaces.

Godolphin and Latymer is just a stone’s throw away from Hammersmith Broadway, benefitting from easy access to world-class museums, galleries and theatres, yet situated in a quiet oasis of tree-lined streets away from the busy arterial roads.

Testimonial

The school has grown and modernised. Most recent is the redevelopment of the well-stocked library and sixth form centre (complete with Nespresso machines), plus a dining area extension and outside landscaping to which pupils contributed their vision and ideas. The result: light, bright settings with a distinct Scandi-hygge feel, muted tones, limewashed wood and generally very aesthetically pleasing. We suspect these spaces will be an incentive for girls to stay on for sixth form.
