About Us Godolphin and Latymer

Godolphin girls are warm, lively and grounded in the real world, achieve excellent GCSE, A Level and IB results, but wear their academic credentials lightly. A wide curricular and extra-curricular programme enriches student life and ensures each individual girl can reach her potential and pursue her interests and passions.

We are an academically selective day school for girls aged 11-18; girls sit 11+ entrance examinations and in the Sixth Form can choose to pursue the IB Diploma or A Level pathway. Our pastoral care ensures that each individual girl is known and supported with initiatives that encourage risk-taking, resilience and a belief that nothing is beyond her reach or aspiration. Girls shine as artists, actors, musicians, sportswomen, scientists, entrepreneurs, debaters, Gold DofE achievers, and Physics, Chemistry and Biology Olympiads. In the Sixth Form students are encouraged to take on key leadership opportunities and positions of responsibility across all areas the school.

Our G&L Futures programme focuses on helping students develop critical skills valued by future employers such as problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, resilience and an entrepreneurial mindset. Each year-group takes part in projects that provide ‘real-life’ analytical and problem-solving activities that enable students to collaborate, research, produce evidence-based ideas and solutions and develop their presentation skills. In September 2025 we are launching our new Innovation and Leadership course which can be studied instead of a GCSE option.

‘Making a Difference’ is a key theme of our annual Challenge Your Limits week and students take part in a plethora of Community Impact and Social Impact projects throughout the year. We strive to be a caring, kind and outward-looking school community and to develop strong relationships with local schools and community groups through our Partnership Programmes.

We nurture a caring, diverse and inclusive community and our means-tested bursary programme allows us to provide fee assistance for talented girls who otherwise wouldn’t be able to come to the school and who, in turn, enrich school life with their energy and inspiration.

Parents love Godolphin and Latymer not just for the academic success it brings their daughters, but for the school’s holistic approach to their education in the broadest sense.
