16+ EntryJoining the Sixth Form
The Sixth Form is a very exciting time at Godolphin and Latymer where we offer both the A Level and IB Diploma pathways and a myriad of opportunities for leadership responsibilities and exploration beyond the curriculum. A number of students join us every year from a range of secondary schools and they contribute significantly to school life and bring valuable new perspectives and experiences.
The academic standards at Godolphin are high and those that join us have curious minds and a deep-seated love of learning. The admissions process is selective, and is designed carefully to establish candidates’ academic potential and capacity to thrive in our sixth form environment. Entrants are expected to achieve grades 8 or 9 at GCSE in the subjects that they intend to study at either A Level or IB Higher Level; for those subjects that they have not studied at GCSE level, we would expect to see academic strength and interest throughout the admissions process. Students looking to study mathematics at a higher level will be highly numerate and analytical and will relish complex problem-solving.

| Entrance Exam and Maths Assessment | Tuesday 3 November 2026 – afternoon All candidates sit the entrance exam. Candidates wishing to study Mathematics in the Sixth Form also sit a maths assessment. (We are unable to offer an alternative date) |
