Godolphin and Latymer is proud to have been an active member of the local Hammersmith community since 1905.

The Christmas Bazaar is a long established and popular tradition for West London residents. It’s a firm fixture on the calendar with Christmas gifts, external stall holders, Santa’s grotto, stalls by the girls, Christmas decorations, games, second hand toys and books, delicious food and entertainment for all the family. All profits go to charities and local causes, as well as the G&L Bursary Fund.

Our monthly tea parties for local elderly residents are a long standing tradition run by our student Raising and Giving Team. We welcome 30 local residents to the school to enjoy afternoon tea, bingo, musical entertainment and the opportunity to meet and catch up with friends. The biggest Tea Party is at Christmas, with over 100 guests attending.

We run a regular Open Lecture Series to which local residents and the wider public are invited – past speakers have included Lord Patten, Clare Balding and Jeremy Vine – and organise public concerts with performers such as violinist Madeleine Mitchell and the group, Tenebrae.

Our Friday morning Ancient World Breakfast Club has been popular with the local community since 2005 and has developed a reputation for attracting distinguished speakers on many and varied topics to do with the ancient world.
