News Success in the British Biology Olympiad 29.04.2021

We are delighted with the Royal Society of Biology’s Biology Olympiad competition results sat by 39 Upper Sixth biologists.

With 8,476 students and over 600 schools taking part, the British Biology Olympiad challenges and stimulates students with an interest in biology to expand and extend their talents. Students are presented with topics and ideas which they are not familiar with, so will compete with their problem solving skills and understanding of core principals.

Many congratulations to all those who entered the competition. 6 Silver Awards went to Margaryta Spirdonava, Taisy Scott, Emily Overend, Eleanor Kaffo, Natalia Nieora and Iris Kennett. 4 Bronze awards went to Hannah Lacaille, Violette Chereau, Divya Dhir and Lavinia Moro, with many more receiving highly commended and commended awards.
