News ‘Start a Start-up’ Competition 19.09.2019

As part of our exciting programme to help the girls develop their entrepreneurial skills, in Monday’s assembly we launched the ‘Start a start-up’ competition and fund. This opportunity will give girls who would like to take part the chance to develop a germ of an idea into something real and with investment potential, and along the way to develop skills that will be useful in the future workplace.

In groups, or individually, any member of the student community can put forward a proposal by the end of November to be considered for investment. Successful proposals will be supported by both capital and guidance whilst those unsuccessful will have the chance to try again in the future.

We hope that this stimulates thought amongst the student community; the initial step is simply to pick up a booklet from the school office!
