News Social Impact Prize Workshop 17.03.2022

On Thursday lunchtime the students taking part in the Social Impact Prize attended a workshop with Mr Carroll to help them meaningfully shape and and develop their ideas.

First off, students were asked to think about the problem that their idea is trying to solve and the supporting context and research, as well as thinking about their target audience and who their programme will directly benefit. Students considered the key features and benefits and how their idea will add value to people’s lives and what will really grab people’s attention about their project and encourage people to support it.

Finally students were asked to consider the costs and funding and the time frames for the launch and running of their programmes as well as how they are going to measure the impact and success of their projects.

We are now really excited to see how the individuals and groups of students will develop their ideas ready for their final presentations later in the year.
