News School Production of Alan Ayckbourn’s ‘Confusions’ 09.02.2024

It has been a busy week for the Drama department who put on their feature production of Alan Ayckbourn’s Confusions. The play was performed in promenade style, with the action taking place in the Bishop Centre, the Hall, the Atrium, and outside areas. Cast members immersed themselves in their roles and mastered the art of improvisation, interacting with their audience across the different locations.

This interactive comedy was a huge success, and incredibly enjoyable for both the audience and actors alike. Over the course of three nights, the cast commanded their roles with focus and commitment and performed with outstanding skill and dedication. Behind the scenes, the student-led Tech Crew transformed the Bishop Centre into a parkland setting, complete with artificial grass covering the floor of the entire building.

Congratulations to all the students and staff involved in pulling off a tremendous feat of theatrical wizardry and for making it a most memorable school production.
