News Economics Conference at Friends House 12.12.2019

On Monday, 35 IB and A Level Economics students attended an Economics Conference discussing the UK as a Brexit economy at Friends House in London.

The students found the discussions very engaging and interesting. Different topics were discussed such as the worth of forecasting future economic performance, the post Brexit economic priorities, the decreasing power of trade unions, the economics of the NHS and the economic policies of the Labour party. The speakers delivered useful presentations on economic tools and policies, that are valuable to our students to deepen their understanding of the economic theory and link it with current affairs.
