On Wednesday evening the Junior Chamber Choir sang choral evensong in the incredible setting of Southwark Cathedral.
Some of the choir sung Evensong at St Paul’s Cathedral earlier in the academic year, but for most of the choir, this was a new experience. They performed superbly and behaved in such a professional manner throughout the afternoon. A special mention must be given to Bea Sammartano for singing a solo in the anthem, and the Cathedral’s resident cat, who made an entrance as the choir were singing the opening responses.
Members of our Junior Chamber Choir should be very proud with themselves.
