News Art and Design Trip to Worthing 11.10.2019

On Thursday, Sixth Form Art and Design students spent the day on Worthing beachfront taking part in an observational workshop.

This involved using a breadth of specialist photographic processes such cyanotype, pinhole camera work as well as exploring manual SLR cameras. In addition, they explored expressive approaches to drawing and innovative forms of relief-printing. The studies captured will greatly enrich these students’ A Level and IB studio work. This trip also provided an opportunity to think visually and to record from a very different landscape to that of the city.

It was incredibly exciting day, hugely enjoyed by staff and students alike. Of course, fish and chips on the beach added a very special ingredient to the trip!
