News Year 10 German Students Explore London Sights with Exchange Students 10.10.2025

In October, the German department took twelve Year 10 Germanists, along with the exchange students from the Johanneumin Hamburg, on a trip to the British Museum and Covent Garden. At the museum, the group explored the exhibits, particularly the Rosetta Stone, the Ancient Greek and Roman galleries, and the fascinating artefacts from ancient Iran. Afterwards, the girls had the opportunity to guide their partners around Covent Garden, while practising their German along the way.

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all, offering a wonderful chance to spend time with their exchange partners and to share their city with the visitors from Hamburg, all while improving their language skills.
