We seek to appoint a highly personable and well-organised individual, with strong administrative skills, to join the Bursar’s Office in the role of full time Cover and HR Assistant from January 2025. The appointed candidate will provide support for a wide variety of administrative tasks within the Bursar’s Office. They will be based in the HR Office with a primary focus on staff absence.
The post-holder will need to be exceptionally professional and must be able to work with a high level of accuracy. Although specific qualifications are not required, the ability to follow strict procedures, pay attention to detail and appreciate the need for confidentiality at all times will be essential attributes of applicants. Experience of HR and/or financial processes would be desirable. Previous experience in the educational or public sector setting would be advantageous. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am – 4.00pm during term time and 8.00am – 4.30pm during school holidays.
The post offers 28 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and two weeks at Christmas when the School is closed. All annual leave must be taken in school holidays.
The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.

All staff working in the School during the school day will have some contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity. In this role you are unlikely to be working with children directly but will regularly interact with pupils who may seek your assistance or otherwise interact with you when moving around the school.
