News Students Reach New Heights at Extra-Curricular Display 20.03.2026
A record-breaking number of students took part in this year’s Extra-Curricular Display, with more than 150 girls showcasing their talents across a range of disciplines. The event proved to be a resounding success, highlighting both the depth of skill and the dedication of participants.
The audience of parents and friends was treated to an impressive programme featuring trampolining, kickboxing, karate, and dance. Each performance demonstrated the students’ commitment and enthusiasm, with many routines reflecting months of preparation and teamwork.
One of the standout moments of the evening came from the advanced dance group, whose powerful blindfolded routine captivated spectators with its emotional depth and precision. The intermediate dancers also delivered a memorable performance, incorporating sign language into their choreography to striking effect.
Karate was led by Upper Sixth student, Alexia, who recently achieved her black belt. Her leadership and expertise were evident throughout the performance, inspiring younger students and adding a sense of accomplishment to the display.
The kickboxing group impressed with their energy and discipline, delivering sharp combinations of punches while skilfully ducking and weaving. Meanwhile, the trampolinists thrilled the audience by reaching new heights, executing somersaults and swivel hips with confidence and flair.
