News Students Celebrate Strong Results in Chemistry Olympiad 24.03.2026
Godolphin chemists are celebrating an impressive set of results following the announcement of this year’s Chemistry Olympiad grade boundaries.
Despite strong national competition, particularly with most other schools being represented by Upper Sixth students, our cohort of mainly Lower Sixth, performed exceptionally well and secured a range of top certificates.
Among the highlights, gold awards were achieved by Elena, Olivia, and Sofia, Upper Sixth, demonstrating outstanding performance at the highest level of the competition. In addition, the school was awarded eight silver certificates and seventeen bronze certificates.
The Chemistry Olympiad is widely regarded as one of the most challenging academic competitions for sixth form chemists, testing advanced problem-solving skills and subject knowledge beyond the standard curriculum. Achieving success at this level is a significant accomplishment, particularly for students competing against older peers.
