News Spring Jam Strikes a Chord with Spectacular Showcase of Talent 19.03.2026
The Spring Jam in March was epic in all senses of the word with a fantastic audience of supportive parents and friends entertained by a full programme of fabulous acts. It felt a particularly special event, featuring a large number of incredibly talented Upper Sixth students making some of their final appearances. Many of them have been regulars at the Jams over the last five years and they will be greatly missed.
At the other end of the school, younger students also made their mark. Bands from Years 7 and 8 took to the stage with confidence, delivering assured debut performances that highlighted the depth of emerging talent. Encouraging new bands has been a key focus this year, and the results were clearly evident. A significant part of this success can be attributed to Yulia, Lower Sixth. who has played a leading role in encouraging younger musicians. Through her work running Band Club every Wednesday lunchtime, she has helped provide a platform for students to develop their skills and gain the confidence to perform.
Between the seasoned Upper Sixth performers and the promising new bands, the evening offered a fantastic mix of polished performances and fresh energy. With such a strong pipeline of performers, the future of our Jam sessions looks bright. and there’s certainly no shortage of talent at Godolphin.
