News Working Lunch: Old Dolphin Returns to Share Sustainability Journey 25.03.2026
Students were delighted to welcome Old Dolphin Anna Dacam (Class of 2017) on Tuesday for the final Working Lunch of the year, in an engaging session focused on careers in sustainability and climate action.
Anna shared her journey since leaving school, describing a ‘squiggly career’ shaped by a passion for environmental issues. Beginning with her involvement in a university charity, she has gone on to work with non-profit organisations and as a consultant within a start-up, gaining a wide range of experience across the sustainability sector.
During the session, Anna encouraged students to pursue their interests early and to actively seek out opportunities to get involved in causes they care about. She also emphasised the importance of speaking to people in roles they find interesting, highlighting how these conversations can open doors and provide valuable insight into different career paths.
The talk prompted thoughtful discussion and offered students a realistic and inspiring perspective on the variety of routes into meaningful work.
The school extends its sincere thanks to Anna for returning to share her experiences, as well as to all the speakers who have contributed to this year’s successful Working Lunch programme.
