News Netball Season So Far: Success, Enthusiasm and Progress 10.11.2025

It’s been an outstanding Autumn Term for netball so far, with record participation and impressive performances across all age groups!

Our teams have shone in the Sisters n Sport Cup with the U16, U15, U14, and U13 squads all progressing to the third round, while the U12s displayed great determination in the Plate Competition. Just this week, our 1st team secured a fantastic win against North London Collegiate School in a thrilling third-round clash of speed and agility, earning their place in the fourth round of the competition. We’re also thrilled that both the U18 and U14 teams have qualified for the Middlesex Finals in March — a tremendous achievement that reflects their hard work and teamwork.

This term we’ve fielded teams from A to G, with an incredible 60–70 students representing the school each week in fixtures against the likes of Surbiton High, LEH, and others. The enthusiasm and depth of talent across all age groups have been inspiring to see. The Inter-House Netball Competition was a highlight of the term, showcasing not only high-quality play but also fantastic House spirit and sportsmanship.

Friendly fixtures against West London Free School, Emanuel, St Paul’s Girls’ School, and City of London School for Girls provided excellent opportunities for development in a competitive but friendly atmosphere. A special moment came when the U16s took on a visiting South African team, gaining valuable experience and memories that will last a lifetime.

Congratulations to our U14A team, who excelled in the X Stone Cup, finishing in the top two and earning a spot in the final, which will be played as a curtain raiser to a Superleague match in May — an incredible opportunity for our players.

Overall, this has been a term filled with achievement, enthusiasm, and progress. Every player should be proud of their contribution, whether in training, competition, or cheering from the sidelines.

Well done to all involved and we’re looking forward to the rest of the season.
