PTFAParents, Teachers and Friends’ Association
The aim of our PTFA is to continue to build a strong, vibrant and active parent community through formal and informal social events and to better connect and support one another. All parents automatically become members of the PTFA when their daughter joins the school and you will quickly discover that we are a very warm, friendly and inclusive community.
Activities include class coffee mornings; year-group social events; weekly walking group; annual Quiz Night; termly Second-hand Uniform Sales; and the Christmas Bazaar and Summer Garden Party. The PTFA donate any funds raised to school projects. In the past few years the PTFA has helped fund the girls’ chosen House charities and Challenge Your Limits Week, and has raised money for a host of items to enrich curricular and extra-curricular activities. These include 3D printers for the Art and Design and Design and Technology departments, robes for members of the Chamber Choirs, equipment for Drama productions, sports equipment, displays for the school Houses, and computer programmes and equipment to support the academic departments.
The PTFA Committee provides a forum to exchange important information between the school and the Godolphin families and includes representatives from school staff and parents. The committee is supported by two class reps from each form throughout the school who often organise opportunities for parents in their form to get together.
When parents join the school they will be given log-in details for the Parent Portal and will be asked to sign-up to the parent directory.
