News Competition Success for Inez 27.03.2026

Many congratulations to Inez, Upper Sixth, who was recently named the winner of the prestigious Peter Morrison Concerto Competition at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music, where she is a student. As the winner of this competition, Inez performed the entirety of Schumann’s Cello Concerto Op. 129 in the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall at the Royal College of Music, accompanied by the RCMJD Symphony Orchestra.

This has marked a very busy month for Inez, including a recital at the Royal Albert Hall and a performance of the first movement of the Schumann alongside our own Symphony Orchestra. We are thrilled that she has been offered a full undergraduate scholarship at the Royal College of Music, and we wish her all the very best in all of her future musical endeavours. Bravo, Inez!
