News Careers Discovery Event Inspires Students with Real-World Insights 17.03.2026

On Monday evening, the school’s Higher Education and Careers department welcomed parents and students from Year 10 and above to its biennial Careers Discovery Event, offering a valuable opportunity to explore a wide range of professional pathways.

The event featured an exciting and diverse programme of twelve talks, all delivered by current parents and members of the Old Dolphins community. Attendees were able to choose from sessions covering a broad spectrum of industries, including architecture, biomedical research, corporate law, fashion entrepreneurship, international journalism, leadership recruitment and tech start-ups, medicine, music publishing and licensing, private equity, sustainability law and strategy, theatre production and programming, as well as technology and artificial intelligence.

The variety of topics reflected the breadth of experience within the school community and gave students first-hand insight into different career journeys, helping them to make more informed decisions about their futures.

Thank you to all the speakers, whose generosity with their time and expertise made the evening possible. Any parents and alumnae interested in finding out more about how they can contribute to the Careers Programme can get in touch via this form: Careers Programme Support. We are very grateful to ever one who gets involved.
