News Finalist in Independent School of the Year Awards 2025 for Contribution to Social Mobility 09.09.2025
We are absolutely delighted to have been selected as a Finalist in the Independent School of the Year Awards 2025 in the Contribution to Social Mobility category. This is in recognition of our commitment to our means-tested bursary programme and our goal to ensure that every academically gifted girl who receives an offer of a place from Godolphin should be able to attend, regardless of her financial background. Our commitment is supported by our Bridge programme which provides academic enrichment for primary school children and also helps them with 11+ preparation and exam technique. Our recently launched Bridge Seniors is a summer programme designed for Year 10 girls as they prepare to enter their final GCSE year and consider Sixth Form options. Many participants attend schools without a Sixth Form, so this programme opens up new possibilities.
Families are also given information and guidance on bursary opportunities across a broad range of London independent schools, not just Godolphin and Latymer. As a result, almost all Bridge students go on to apply to selective schools across the capital and we currently have 27 graduates of the Bridge programmes at Godolphin including eight who joined us in September 2025.
Congratulations to all of the staff and students involved in our Bridge programmes and our thanks to the generous donors who help make Bridge possible and to all of those who give so generously to our bursary programme.
