News Working Lunches 10.01.2023

In February and March, as part of the G&L Futures programme, our Higher Education and Careers department is running its annual series of Working Lunches. Old Dolphins, parents and friends of the school from a range of professions will be joining us for informal lunchtime seminars to talk about their work experience, career journeys to date and to offer invaluable insight and advice to our students from Year 9 and above who may be interested in their fields. Even if it is an area students might not have considered before, these lunches are a fantastic opportunity to find out about the vast array of different careers on offer.

The programme is evolving but to date includes:

Friday 3 February 1.15-2.00pm – Dr Parvinder Shergill: BAFTA winning filmmaker and NHS doctor

Friday 10 February 1.15-2.00pm – Ayesha Singh: with an MA in psychology has worked in finance (Citigroup) and now is a consultant at Bain & Company

Friday 24 February 1.15-2.00pm – Charlotte Rowe: after reading Art History at university and spending 15 years in PR and Marketing in London and Sydney, set up her own London design studio and is now an award-winning garden designer with clients across the world.
