Our whole school community has been deeply affected by the unfolding tragedy in the Ukraine. We received an overwhelming response to our appeal for emergency items for Ukraine refugees and have organised additional deliveries of essential supplies to the organisers.
On Tuesday lunchtime our whole community – students, staff and parents – came together to highlight the plight of the victims of the Ukraine humanitarian disaster by rowing 50 miles in relay and writing our thoughts and messages in a montage of SUPPORT to raise funds for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Thank you to everyone who has contributed through the school e-shop: together we raised over £7,300.
On Wednesday next week we will be joining schools across the country to take part in A Day for Ukraine to raise more much-needed funds for people who are suffering as a result of the conflict.
