News Sunday Times IB School of the Year 2023 12.12.2022

We are delighted to have been named as the Sunday Times IB School of the Year 2023 and that the holistic education we offer here, with the academic and pastoral sides of school life working in tandem, continues to achieve excellent outcomes for our students. Our students’ outstanding results in the 2022 public examinations, supported by dedicated and committed teachers, have positioned us 4th in the Sunday Times national league table for independent secondary schools. All this was achieved while students continued to pursue their passions and interests outside the classroom; took on key leadership and ambassadorial roles for the school; volunteered for projects to make a positive difference to our wider community; and developed entrepreneurial skills and mindsets by taking part in our In-house Internships.

Helen Davies, editor of the Sunday Times Parent Power Schools Guide commented, ‘The trends may not be new, but they are reinforced: … single-sex girls’ schools are continuing to excel and those schools that push extracurricular activities and wellbeing are thriving inside and outside the classroom. We want to celebrate excellence. We want to champion schools that are doing wonderful work. We want our children to be well nurtured and well taught.’
