News Remote Junior House Music Festival 11.06.2020

Inspired by the success of our remote recital series, Wednesday’s Junior House Music Festival featured over seventy solo and ensemble performances from musicians across the school. The event brought together many of the school community with students and staff tuning into watch performances of pieces from the likes of Bach, Bernstein, Debussy, Schubert, Alan Menken and Rihanna. There was good variety in the pieces with musical theatre, jazz and folk songs amidst the classical solo and ensemble performances.

Students received individual feedback and House points for taking part. Followed closely by Mathaai, the House to receive the most points was Shepperd. The performances were of an exceptionally high standard, with the judges forced into some very difficult decisions in choosing the winners. Congratulations to Charlotte Moore, the highest scoring student, and to all who performed.
