Last weekend, a delegation of eleven Godolphin students participated in a Model United Nations Conference at St Paul’s School where they discussed a wide range of challenging topics.
Our girls represented Afghanistan and the Dominican Republic, discussing a wide range of topics such as the reconstruction of Afghanistan, Kashmir and the rights of indigenous peoples. Particular congratulations should go to Ailbhe and Caroline who spoke very eloquently in the General Assembly proposing solutions to the Iran crisis.
It was great to see a mix of delegates from Godolphin taking place with some who have been to many MUN conferences as well as three beginners. Despite their varying levels of experience everyone got fully involved in discussions and debates.
