News In-house Interns Visit London Interdisciplinary School 06.05.2022

As part of the in-house internship programme, a group of Lower Sixth students have been working on developing solutions to a real problem for the music streaming platform Keakie.

The essence of the problem centres around engaging new users in the 18-24 age bracket through social media. As part of the process in broadening research, these Lower Sixth students participated in a session on ‘how to interview to gain insight’ and then put this theory into practice in a visit to London’s newest university, The London Interdisciplinary School, based in Shoreditch. Not only did our Lower Sixth have extremely valuable conversations with the LIS undergraduates, they also heard from these students about their experiences of interdisciplinary learning and the connection to the world beyond education.

It was wonderful to see school students engage with undergraduates in such a meaningful and useful activity.
