News Godolphin students provide IT equipment to local community 17.02.2021

Last month Year 8 students Alice, Kyra, Harper, Olivia and Alex began collecting donations of unwanted tech for children and young people in our local area who desperately need IT and computer equipment. To ensure this equipment gets to where it is needed most, the girls linked up with Ready Tech Go – a charity based in West London that helps to distribute tech equipment to schools and families in need.

With the support of our school community, they have collected over 70 tech items and they have also secured a cash donation of £200 directly to ReadyTechGo from one local family! The initiative has helped raise the profile of the charity and highlighted the amazing work they are doing locally. ReadyTechGo experts will now wipe the equipment, refurbish it and distribute it to wherever it is needed the most.

To donate items (iPads, laptops, desktops and dongles in good working order, ideally not older than eight years old and, if at all possible, with their original chargers), please visit ReadyTechGo’s website.
