We had more fascinating talks from Old Dolphins last week with Helena Williams, Class ’12, talking at the first of our ‘Futures Working Lunches’.
The ‘Futures Working Lunches’ programme is open to pupils from all year groups who have a real intrinsic interest in the wide and varied opportunities which exist outside the classroom. Helena, after graduating from Central Saint Martins, began working as a freelance Product Designer. She spoke to girls about her interest in design that was nurtured through DT lessons with Mr Cosgrove, the variety of roles that are available to people with degrees in Product Design and the reality of applying for jobs within the field.
