News Futures Working Lunches: Helen Donald 09.02.2024

Today was the first of our annual series of Working Lunches, which will feature Godolphin parents joining us for informal lunchtime seminars to talk about their work experience, career journeys to date, and to offer invaluable insight and advice to students from Year 9 and above who may be interested in their fields.

Helen Donald spoke about her career journey from History degree to vet, via marketing and management consultancy. Helen initially worked for a small animal practice before to ZSL London Zoo advising on endangered native species. She now works for Natural England as Head of Wildlife Health. Helen spoke honestly about what it is really like to be a vet and gave invaluable advice on finding work experience and the many career paths a veterinary degree can lead to.

We would like to thank Helen wholeheartedly for supporting our Futures careers programme and we look forward to further Working Lunches after half-term.
