News A Busy Summer of Music for Isabell 30.09.2022

Congratulations to Isabell in the Upper Sixth who had a busy summer participating in three international music events, and was named leader of the National Youth Orchestra, and the leader of the Symphony and Chamber Orchestras at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music for 2023.

Isabell participated in the Bowdoin International Music Festival in Brunswick in the US, and Keshet Eilon International String Master Course in Israel on a full scholarship. At the end of August, she went to Germany since she had been selected as one of 29 participants in the Kloster Schöntal International Violin Competition, reaching the semi-final. In 2022 Isabell was part of the National Youth Orchestra. She auditioned for the position of leader this year and she has been selected to be the leader of the NYO 2023. She also auditioned to be leader of the Symphony and Chamber Orchestras at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music. She was selected to be one of the three leaders, and she will lead the Chamber Orchestra in the Spring Term and the Symphony orchestra in the Summer Term, both at the Cadogan Hall and the Concert Hall at RCM.
