News This Is Me: A Powerful Finale to Our Summer Concert 01.07.2026

Tuesday’s Summer Concert was a wonderful success, featuring a grand total of 250 performers on stage and rounding off an incredible year of music-making. All of our large ensembles (including the Symphony Orchestra, Opus 7, String Ensemble, Philharmonia and Concert Band, Percussion Quintet, Percussion Ensemble, Senior Chamber Choir, Junior Chamber Choir, Year 8 and 9 Choir, Senior Choir, and Year 7 Choir) performed superbly, and it was such a thrilling evening of music.

The Music Department were honoured to conclude the concert with the entire Year 7 cohort (over 100 in total!) singing ‘This is Me’ from The Greatest Showman, chosen for its themes of courage, resilience, individuality and celebrating each others’ differences. It really was an uplifting end to the academic year.
