News Year 7 Mini Business Adventure (MBA): Summer Garden Party Market Stalls 24.06.2026

Over the last couple of weeks Year 7 students have been taking part in their Mini Business Adventure to develop their stalls which are going to be in the courtyard at the Summer Garden Party on Thursday 2 July.

The project began at the beginning of June with the girls getting into groups and practising the skills of ideation and divergent thinking. They were supported to develop ideas through classroom activities such as Crazy 6s where they came up with six ideas in six minutes, and then assessed them using FOP: feasibility, originality and popularity. Each group then took two ideas forward to discuss with their tutors. Once they had settled on an idea the groups focused on their pricing and brand strategy and an action plan to pull together everything they will need for their stalls. Each group will have: assigned their roles; been given £30 to help develop their products and services; developed their business name and tagline; created their pricing structure with their customers in mind.

Good luck to the Year 7 with their market stalls at the Summer Garden Party.
