News Lower Sixth Higher Education Forum: Exploring Academic Pathways 05.02.2026
On Monday evening, we hosted our annual Higher Education Forum for Lower Sixth students and their parents.
The event offered students valuable insight into undergraduate study, with talks spanning a broad range of academic subjects. Many sessions were led by Godolphin and Latymer teachers and covered areas including Architecture, Biological Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, International Relations and Politics, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, and Dentistry. In addition, students attended sessions on applications to leading UK universities and global institutions.
We were also delighted to welcome guest speakers Dr Lucy Floyd, University Lecturer, who delivered the session on Law, and Clinical Psychologist and Old Dolphin Dr Annie Bird (Class of 2014), who spoke on Psychology. Dr Rupp, Head of Liberal Arts at the University of Warwick, gave a fascinating presentation on the study of Liberal Arts in the UK.
The evening generated considerable enthusiasm among students, inspiring them to explore their academic interests further. We look forward to supporting them as they embark on their higher education journeys.
