News Year 9 Students Hear Powerful Holocaust Testimony 20.05.2026
On Monday 18 May the History Department welcomed Hephzibah Rudofsky, whose family survived the Holocaust, into school to lead a session with Year 9 pupils. This powerful narrative was made more poignant by the personal artefacts, memories and recorded video testimony from Hephzibah’s mother. Students were able to view the primary evidence including photographs, postcards, and letters and gain a sense of the enormity of the Holocaust by following the journey of one particular family’s experience. Hephzibah’s warm and engaging approach and the students’ excellent questions made it a very valuable experience for all.
