News Year 7 Explore Faith and Function on Cross-Curricular London Trip 06.06.2025

After the summer half-term break, Year 7 students embarked on an exciting joint trip with the Philosophy & Religion and Technology departments, visiting both the National Gallery and the Design Museum. At the National Gallery, pupils deepened their understanding of religious artwork by exploring a range of Renaissance masterpieces, supporting their studies of religious themes in art . The day continued at the Design Museum, where students transitioned from makers to designers—interacting with the museum’s permanent collection and taking part in hands-on workshops focused on sustainable design. A day of creativity, reflection, and inspiration all rolled into one!
