Annual Fund: BursariesImproving access to transform lives

We believe that with the current challenges our society faces, our ambition to widen access to our outstanding education – through our means-tested bursary scheme – is more important than ever.

In 2019-20 parents past and present, Old Dolphins and friends of the school donated over £380,000 to the Annual Fund: Bursaries. These funds enabled 82 pupils to receive the necessary financial assistance to attend the school via our means-tested bursary programme.

We remain committed to increasing the number of transformational bursaries that we can offer to pupils in the future, as well as supporting those in our community who require immediate assistance because of hardship. To enhance the accessibility of our bursary scheme, in 2019 we launched the Bridge Programme, read more about how we are working to widen access to education via the programme here.

We are very keen to support the school's Annual Fund. Unlike many world class educational establishments, Godolphin and Latymer does not benefit from an historic endowment and therefore, we feel that it is important to support the fund. A modest contribution can help significantly to fund bursaries for children of families that might not be able to afford it otherwise. This is particularly relevant now, with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
