News Summer Concert 2025 03.07.2025

The Summer Concert was a wonderful celebration of music at Godolphin and Latymer, and of all that our ensembles and choirs have achieved throughout the year.

Our Symphony Orchestra, String Ensemble, Philharmonia, Percussion Trio, Percussion Quartet, Senior Chamber Choir, Junior Chamber Choir, Year 8 and 9 Choir, and Year 7 Choir all performed a veritable feast of repertoire with real verve and energy, including Sondheim’s Comedy Tonight, Holst’s Brook Green Suite, Rutter’s For The Beauty of the Earth, and Cecilia McDowall’s Bless To Me This Day.

We were proud to conclude the concert with our entire Year 7 cohort singing Miley Cyrus’s The Climb, which was specially chosen for its themes of perseverance, personal growth and resilience; a most fitting musical finale to their first year here.

Bravo to all of our performers (over 250 in total!) for all of their hard work, musicianship, and infectious enthusiasm. We wish them all a really happy and restful summer break.
