News Strong Performance in Hans Woyda Competition 08.10.2026

Our mathematicians, Ching Mae, Year 9, Jiexi, Year 11, Lucy, Lower Sixth, and Amelie, Upper Sixth, travelled to City of London School on Tuesday afternoon for the first round of the new academic year’s Hans Woyda competition.

The team worked very well together and were in the lead for the first three sections. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding saw them lose points in the team round although they recovered well, and the later sections were very close, with the head-to-head scores remaining tight. The final result was 36–43 in our hosts favour, with the team round ultimately making the difference.

Our dolphins should be commended for their excellent performance throughout the match. It was a strong score and a very competitive finish. Well done, everyone!
