News No Hot Air Here! Two out of Three for Year 9 and 10 Debaters at South Hampstead High School 23.06.2026

On a very warm Monday 22 June, Ruth, Pia and Elena, Year 9, and Una, Ananya, Danqi, Victoria, Livia and Talitha, Year 10, ventured via the steamy tube to South Hampstead High School for their termly debate competition. All three teams won two of their three debates, which focused on themes such as preferring a world without envy, abolishing parole for prisoners and preferring political to apolitical comedy. Congratulations to all of the girls involved who showed great understanding of the debating formats and techniques. We look forward to further success in next year’s competitions.
