News New York University Talk 16.05.2025
On Thursday, our students enjoyed the opportunity to attend a lunchtime meeting with the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at New York University, Ms Lisa Mortini.
Ms Mortini explained the ways in which the city of New York serves as an extension of the university campus, offering countless opportunities for internships and cultural exploration and how “you become a New Yorker as much as you become an NYU student” when studying as an undergraduate.
Students were particularly excited to learn more about NYU’s international reach with other campuses in Abu Dhabi and Shanghai as well as its global academic centres offering exciting study away options in places ranging from Los Angeles to Florence. They also explored the distinctive features of the various NYU schools, including The Gallatin School of Individualised Study and Tisch School of the Arts, where students can follow a specific educational path in their fields of interest while also taking courses across the different schools.
Ms Mortini was impressed with the level of enthusiasm and curiosity shown by our students and enjoyed answering their questions.
