News Maya Rallies Performers to Make a Difference for Restore the Music 05.11.2026

On the first day back after half-term, we were fortunate to enjoy a wonderful Musical Theatre Charity Showcase. Organised by Maya, our Lower Sixth Music Scholar, the event raised £1,200 for Restore The Music, a charity which provides musical instruments for state schools in areas of high socioeconomic deprivation. Performances included:

Bea (Year 11): My Days from ‘The Notebook’
Etain and Una (Year 11): I Know Him So Well from ‘Chess’
Annabel (Year 12): Maybe This Time from ‘Cabaret’
Gigi (Year 10): Somewhere Over the Rainbow from ‘The Wizard of Oz’
Florence (Lower Sixth): Not While I’m Around from ‘Sweeney Todd’
Leila and Sabrina (Year 11): Flight from ‘Wish’
Sanna (Year 7): My Grand Plan from ‘Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief’
Elise (Year 11): As Long As He Needs Me from ‘Oliver’
Zara (Year 10): Burn from ‘Hamilton’
Chloe and Emily (Year 10): For Good from ‘Wicked’
Honor (Lower Sixth): I Dreamed a Dream from ‘Les Miserables’
Year 8 and 9 Choir – Touch the Sky from ‘Brave’

Many, many congratulations to all of our superb performers and, of course, to Maya who masterminded, organised and hosted the event.
