News Life Beyond Godolphin: Sixth Form Life Skills Sessions 22.01.2025

With their practice exams behind them, Upper Sixth students spent Tuesday afternoon participating in a carousel of independent living skills sessions to prepare for life beyond Godolphin.

These sessions included cooking and meal prep led by Mrs Swann and Miss Whitby, alongside advice on living with a flatmate for the first time and conflict resolution strategies from our Director of Sixth Form, Mrs Holder, and School Counsellor, Mr Allsop.

One of the most interactive sessions was the DIY workshop with Mr Vicenik and Mrs Pacheco-Moreno, where students learnt practical skills such as changing a light bulb, hanging wall art, and locating a property’s stopcock.

We look forward to running additional skills sessions for the Sixth Form in the coming weeks as they begin to consider their futures and prepare for life at university.
