News Design and Disability Exhibition at the V&A 20.06.2025
Year 10 Design and Technology students, joined by the new Year 9 cohort, enjoyed an inspiring trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum. They explored the Design and Disability exhibition, gaining valuable insights into how design can improve accessibility and inclusivity. The exhibition showcases the radical contributions of disabled, deaf, and neurodivergent people and communities to design history and contemporary culture, from the 1940s to present day – particularly timely as the school is celebrating School Diversity Week the following week. The visit sparked creativity and thoughtful discussion about the role of design in overcoming challenges—an experience that will surely influence their upcoming projects!
