News Community Impact Club Projects Reach International Finals 25.04.2025

The Community Impact Club have been meeting weekly this academic year with the aim of highlighting and addressing important issues within our communities via social impact initiatives and projects. This year’s ideas include initiatives to tackle the teenage mental health crisis, loneliness and inactivity in the elderly, and making travel around London safer to name a few.

Before Easter, the teams submitted their project reports to an annual competition run by Future Problem Solving International, an organisation which specialises in community impact projects worldwide. Out of all the worldwide submissions from over 240 schools across twelve countries (and five continents!), three of our teams were selected as finalists. In the Middle School Division, two of our teams were selected, Project Confidence and Project Brainwave. In the Senior Division, Project Stigma Against Homelessness was selected.

This is a huge achievement, and testament to the real world impact that their projects have had. A massive congratulations to Maeve, Melisa, Olivia and Ilioni in Year 10, Yasmin and Leila in Year 9, and Sofia L, Sofia R and Leah in Lower Sixth.
