News Celebrating Success in the Junior Mathematical Challenge 14.05.2025

Congratulations to the Year 7 and Year 8 students who have achieved excellent results in the Junior Mathematical Challenge. This is a nationwide competition that consists of a 60-minute, 25 multiple choice challenge that encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency to make students think. Overall, our Godolphin girls achieved 95 Gold Awards, 92 Silver Awards, and 34 Bronze Awards. Which means that 93% of girls were awarded a certificate and 40% were awarded Gold.

Impressively, Yinuo and Zara, Year 8, have qualified for the two-hour Junior Mathematical Olympiad and 60 girls (23 Year 7s and 37 Year 8s) qualified for the one-hour Junior Kangaroo round on Tuesday 10 June. We wish them all the very best of luck.
