News Career Insights into the Art World with Art Advisor, Sophie Singh 08.10.2026

On Tuesday, the History of Art department and Sixth Form art historians welcomed Sophie Singh to speak about careers in the art world. Sophie is an Art Advisor with wide experience in curating, marketing and consulting, working in both the art market and with public art institutions like the Tate. She spoke about the structure of the art world, career ladders within it, and prospects for the Arts sector amidst the challenge of AI. The Godolphin students present asked several great questions and went away with invaluable insights into the opportunities, pitfalls and rewards of choosing a career working with art.
