News Inspiring Insights at Psychology Working Lunch 12.02.2026

Just before half-term, we were delighted to welcome Juliette Lloyd to school for an engaging Psychology Working Lunch.

Juliette brings a wealth of experience from both the sporting and academic worlds. A former British junior international rower, she has coached rowing at national and international level, including work with the Great Britain junior team. Her first-hand experience of elite sport has shaped her deep understanding of performance and mindset.

After completing a BA and MSc in Psychology at the University of Exeter, Juliette went on to train as a Sport Psychologist. She spent a decade at the English Institute of Sport (EIS), supporting elite athletes across a wide range of disciplines. During this time, she worked closely with high-performance performers, helping them develop the psychological skills needed to succeed at the highest levels. She now runs her own business, continuing to support individuals and teams in achieving their potential.

In her talk, Juliette explored the diverse career pathways within the field of Psychology, offering students valuable insight into the breadth of the profession. She also highlighted the powerful connection between mind and performance, demonstrating how psychological skills can make a critical difference in both sport and everyday life.

It was an inspiring and informative session, and we are grateful to Juliette for sharing her expertise and experiences with our students.
